ARCHITECTS: Cesar Pelli and Associates, Design Architects, with SLCE, Architect of Record

PROJECT GOALS: Creating an iconic building to house luxury condos, office space and retail venues on a full city block site between 58th and 59th Streets and Lexington and Third Avenues in New York, NY.

RESULTS: As an associate at Pelli Clarke Pelli, Karin worked on this mixed-use skyscraper, housing Bloomberg Financial’s headquarters, high-end apartments with sweeping views of Manhattan’s skyline and retail stores on Lexington and Third Avenues. A central ellipsoid courtyard provides a private address, One Beacon Court, to the apartments, to Le Cirque restaurant and to the VIP office space.
