FuZion Medical Aesthetic Boutique

ARCHITECT: Karin Patriquin

PROJECT GOALS: The directors of FuZion medical boutique asked Karin to design spaces for them in the recently completed Chestnut Building in Branford, CT. A reception area with room for retail items needed to be welcoming and open. Large treatment rooms needed to be placed away from daylight, while smaller treatment rooms, serenity rooms and all other staff offices and areas would benefit from natural light.

RESULTS: The interiors of the medical boutique reflect both the artful and scientific approach of FuZion’s treatments. A large reception and retail area welcomes customers to the spaces. Behind the reception desk, visitors are escorted to the treatment and serenity spaces beyond. Staff offices and other rooms are located furthest from the reception, with privacy and daylighting available to all. Treatment rooms, with their necessary medical-grade materials are designed with as much care as the client and office areas. Careful attention to the clients’ needs led to a serene yet professional atmosphere.
